           Valentine's Day or St. Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated every 14th of February. In the English-speaking countries, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. It is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. But who is he? Some say he was a priest, who served during 3rd Century Rome. Some say while he was in prison for a crime, he fell in love with his jailor's young girl. But those are just  rumors. The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines". Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid.
     
      Today women and men still express their love through cards, flowers and chocolates, plus more. That " plus more " means a variety of inviduals who continue the tradition of courting one another with a modern twist. With the songs:

• A twist in my story by Secondhand Serenade,
• Two is better than one by Boys Like Girls ft. Taylor Swift.
Have you read any cliché books with a predictable plot of boy meets girl, a commoner becomes a princess. Where as they say "love happens in the most unexpected of ways?" While in others a person while fight for the one he loves like:
• Edward, Bella from the Twilight Saga
• Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron from the Harry Potter series
• Like Tamaki, Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club
• Jun Pyo, Yi Jeong, Ji Hoo, and Jan Di from the show Boys over Flowers.

        These fictional individuals are a conventional example of people who "fight for love".  But how about stories? This excerpt of a short story that I found at abclocal.com, where her love of her life was a Navy Officer, "He got out of service after I graduated high school, and we dated for about 6 months before he told me I Love you." I used this because even if he is, a Navy (not Navy Seal) he still has some part in his heart for love.

        There are some people who fall in love with the same gender they are in. Despite what other people might think, it is still the same as any type of love (be it cliché romance, typical infatuation, etc…) A good example of this is my cousin, Zach Pagkalinawan; he's openly gay who likes boys. Yaoi and Yuri (gay and lesbian romance/love) is the anime version. Regardless of their gender or sexual orientation, can freely express their feelings of attraction to one another via gifts, dates, proposals, conversations, etc…

      February 14 is the most very special day for girls, especially girls. Guys really wonder why girls get so giggly during this day. But we girls can't really help it. It's the day of love, what can't girls get giggly about this day. This day is where they make chocolates for their crushes, boyfriends or just friends. It is also where they say their feelings. Valentine's Day is also considered a special occasion in which anyone, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation, can freely express their feelings of attraction to one another via gifts, dates, proposals, conversations, etc…

          "Mist of Stars," was the title I made after 2 tries. My first try was "A day in Love Town," the second was "Under the mist of stars…I say I love you." I wanted this title because it makes the readers want to read about it. It gives them enough curiosity to want to read this. It makes them say, "What kind of title is this?"
